The main reason is that inflatable arches are typically used outdoors and must withstand changes in ambient temperature.
As a large-scale structure, an inflatable arch cannot be made from the highly elastic material used in toy balloons, as this would easily cause bulging in certain areas. This creates a challenge: when the internal air temperature changes, the arch cannot expand or contract significantly like a toy ball to compensate.

Without maintaining constant air pressure, direct sunlight at noon would place enormous stress on the material. Even if it does not rupture, the lifespan of the arch will be noticeably reduced. When temperatures drop at night, the structure can easily collapse due to insufficient pressure.
Therefore, when selecting an inflatable arch, a continuously inflated model is more reliable than a sealed, airtight one.
