How to fix an air leak in an inflatable tent?

Inflatable tents typically come with a repair kit. If the air leak is caused by a very small hole, you can use a small circular patch from the repair kit: apply adhesive specifically designed for inflatable tents onto the patch, let the glue dry completely, and then firmly press it over the leak (note: do not stick the patch immediately after applying the glue—doing so will prevent proper adhesion).

If the leak occurs at a heat-sealed seam where the bonding has failed, first thoroughly clean the affected area with a cloth to remove any dirt or residue. Then apply the adhesive evenly and with appropriate thickness. After applying two coats of glue, directly attach the repair fabric patch.

If the leak is very large—exceeding 15 cm in diameter—you may temporarily repair it using the method described above. However, we recommend returning the tent to the factory for free professional repair when convenient, to ensure the product maintains its original quality.

In hot summer weather, do not overinflate beyond the recommended pressure level indicated on the tent. Regularly check the air pressure and release some air if pressure becomes too high. Conversely, during colder winter months or early mornings when temperatures are lower, add a bit more air as needed to maintain proper inflation and ensure normal use.

Keep the tent away from objects hotter than 70°C and open flames. For TPU-material tents, prolonged contact with objects above 50°C should be avoided as much as possible.
